unruly lines
generative art.
this animated artwork explores a neurodivergent way of functioning, shaped by an overflowing and prolific stream of thought. a line takes off, abruptly shifts direction, intertwines, pauses, then veers off again without transition.
it embodies these sudden leaps, these unpredictable mental jumps, where one idea sparks another before the previous one is fully formed—an endless oscillation between abundance and dispersion.
within this relentless creative energy, excitement coexists with urgency—the urge to capture and express every thought before it vanishes—but also with the exhaustion that this endless flow can bring.
the tension between hyperfocus and dispersion, between impulsivity and paralysis in the face of infinite possibilities, materializes in the movement of this line as it weaves its own labyrinth.
the final woven form, dense and organic, reveals a structure that is both intricate and mesmerizing. it conveys the impression of chaos governed by its own internal logic, a system whose richness defies conventional frameworks.
this work does not seek to define—it aims to make the viewer feel, through an immersive and sensory experience, the paradoxes and intensity of this unique cognitive rhythm.
