asteroids

a ship drifts through the void. stars flicker in the dark, each at its own rhythm — a field of light too quiet to notice until you stop moving.

meteors cross the space as irregular polygons. when destroyed, they split — large into medium, medium into small — and each fragment stamps its filled silhouette onto the persistent layer below, marking where it was. what the ship destroys does not disappear: it becomes color, it becomes trace.

the hue slowly shifts between two complementary poles. each collision leaves a different tint. the result layer accumulates — a sediment of destruction, growing denser with each pass.

the game ends. the painting continues.
